Yoga Break℠ provides on-site yoga classes for corporations, schools, and clubs – essentially for any group of people who would enjoy the convenience of having a MOBILE YOGA STUDIO come to them. Classes are held at the convenience of the attendees. Most organizations decide on their time of day based on the availability of four walls, an open floor space and 45 minutes to an hour of time from their interested parties. Classes can meet bi-weekly, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly. Corporate yoga classes are arranged in packages of 8 sessions. Participants are asked to sign up and pay for the course in advance. There is a minimum charge of $100 per 45 minute or hour-long sessions (you choose the length). For classes larger than 10 persons, an additional charge ($6) is added for each additional person over 10.

What are the benefits of practicing yoga?
The practice of yoga delivers bodily benefits that often exceed what is experienced with other physical endeavors. Often thought of as “stretching,” yoga more accurately “strengthens” the body, building strong bones and long and lean muscles. At the same time, balance, flexibility and agility are heightened. As the body improves, the mind becomes calm; many people who practice yoga notice the effects of better concentration and a more peaceful outlook even after their first session. As the practice of yoga builds, the benefits truly multiply and these benefits only grow stronger as the practitioner ages.

Why practice yoga in the workplace instead of at a yoga studio?
Because you will! It is much easier to go from a desk to a yoga mat, eliminating travel time and excuses. No matter what time of day is chosen, corporate yoga promotes self-care which often translates into other areas of the practitioner’s life; improved eating habits, better coping patterns, even a more joyful life. And practicing yoga with your co-employees can often be great for team-building, promoting cooperation and developing a sense of community in the workplace.

Do our participants require prior yoga experience?
Absolutely not. Classes are designed for a steady and comfortable physical practice, suitable for all fitness and experience levels. Modifications to the yoga postures are always offered to make the physical work easier or more challenging. And although most participants like to change into comfortable clothing, there is no restriction about what to wear as long as one can easily move. Each session ends with 5 minutes of deep relaxation, guaranteed to have participants looking forward to their next session.
