Class Descriptions
VINYASA YOGA –Based on Astanga Yoga, a vigorous flow class, combining breath and
movement, which strengthens and stretches the body while calming and focusing the mind.
This class is ideal for those who enjoy a challenge and wish to gain core strength.
HOUR OF POWER – A challenging, upbeat vinyasa flow class with sequencing and variations guaranteed to keep the energy and interest levels high. (Note: HOT! Classes are heated to
approximately 92 degrees and are not recommended for pregnant women or those with
uncontrolled high blood pressure).
LEVEL ONE POWER – Designed for those with previous yoga experience but welcoming
to those new to yoga, this user-friendly class builds confidence, strength and agility. Emphasizing principles of alignment, breath and movement, this class is appropriate for most by use of clear instruction, visual cues, pacing and modifications.
BUDDHA BOOT CAMP – The Best of Both Worlds! This fusion class utilizes light hand
weights and hatha yoga postures for the first ½ hour and ends with ½ hour of hatha yoga,
stressing agility, flexibility and relaxation.
GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING – All the fun of group aerobic and weight training activities
with lots of individual attention and variations. Equipment includes bands, medicine balls, stability
balls, weights and rollers.
BOOT CAMP – Interval training includes cardio and weights with lots of motivation to energize participants; modifications are offered to encourage all levels. A fast-paced, fun hour: high energy,
spirit and camaraderie.
